DDB Pneumatic Double Disk Brakes

DDB Pneumatic Double Disk Brakes

Heavy Duty. That's what you get from MAGPOWR's DDB – Double Disk Pneumatic Brake. These brakes are all cast iron construction with no aluminum hubs that can loosen due to thermal expansion. And the disk is vented to allow for greater heat dissipation through its cooling fins.

There are a variety of sizes available to insure that the unit selected will have sufficient torque for both tension and roll inertia requirements.

Features:

•Available in 9", 13" or 17" diameters

•Disk Assembly made with all cast iron construction

•The DDB pneumatic brake has a vented disk for greater heat dissipation 23HP

•Quick disconnect fittings for quick, easy change of actuators and pads

•Machined guide posts for low pressure actuation

•Friction pads grooved for visual wear inspection, extra cooling and better control at high r.p.m.s

•Modular construction (all parts are interchangeable)

•Widest torque range

General Specifications:

•Parts can be ordered independently, or all parts will be supplied if ordered by brake pad number. Note: Non-sparking pads available for hazardous locations

•Determine torque requirement in in-lb from maximum tension and maximum roll diameter

•Determine thermal horsepower required:

•The DDB can be ordered with one to five actuator assemblies, three different pad coefficients, and optional valves for independent pad operation.

•Formula: THP=(TQ(in-lbs.) X Effective RPM)/63000
